The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is the second season of American Crime Story, succeeding its first season, The People v. O. J. Simpson. It focuses on the surprise murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace by serial killer Andrew Cunanan, the origins of the murderer's motives, and the grievous aftermath.

The miniseries contains nine episodes, all based on the book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U. S. History by Maureen Orth. It has since aired its premiere on January 17, 2018, on the television channel FX.
